Does anyone know if it's possible to rent a stroller later in the day? I don't want to get one in the morning but DS would probably be tired after a couple of hours of walking around so was thinking I'd get one then. Do they run out of strollers early in the morning?

Also, if I rent one at DL and then go over to CA, can I just take my receipt and pick up another stroller, or do I have to pay twice?

You can rent them at any time as long as they have strollers left. They don't usually sell out, but I have heard it has happened a couple of times during really busy days.

You only need to pay once per day and just take your information over to the other park when park hopping.

Thank you! I'm glad you can just pay for one day at both parks b/c I don't think we'll be spending a great deal of time at DCA but would like to see the light parade and do some of the rides one afternoon!

You can take the stroller from DL to CA. It makes it so easy.....Just can't take it to downtown disney.

It all depends on how busy it is! We have been on many really packed days (Thanksgiving, Spring Break) and strollers were all gone by 11 am. A few times CA still had them but DL was all out but I think now they are still doing the "central" stroller rental at the entry plaza.

IF there was a chance of running out, we alway got them right away and just stashed it somewhere until we really needed it. We have only lost one but every other time, the strollers were right where we left them. I think they hold a few back in case some walk off because we took the receipt back to the rental place and they were sold out but had a few stashed away and gave us a replacement. They also have stroller rentals at the Star Tours exit in that shop but you can not use a Disney Visa there for a free one.

The op is right, you can take the stroller back and forth between both parks all day long. For a short while, they were making people leave it in one park and get another one at the other park but that was just stupid and did not last long, thankfully.
