Looking at going to Disney in September and will be needing a stroller. I was looking at renting from Apple Strollers ($48 for the week). Is this a good deal or should I look elsewhere?

They are one of the cheapest companies but their strollers are more run down than the other companies (in my experience anyway) and there were a few board members who made reservations months ahead of time, only to find that Apple didn't have a stroller for them. They only had a couple days notice to find a new stroller. For this reason, I would choose one of the other companies...we like Kingdom Strollers.

We love Magic Strollers. Great stroller, great service.

We used Kingdom Strollers and it was super easy, no hassle. They were also flexible with some details on my travel which saved me some money when they didn't have to be. We are using them again this trip.

I just went and priced Kingdom Rentals. They are another $25 for the same stroller not including the damage and theft insurance that is another $25! So, $50 more...how does everyone feel about this? Kingdom or Apple?!? Or any other strollers? I spoke with someone at Apple and they assured me that if something was wrong with the stroller they would bring me another. Help please!

I used Apple this past November for both a double stroller and a scooter for my MIL. I reserved the stroller about 5 months in advance and paid for it about 2 months before the trip. The scooter was reserved and paid for only a few weeks prior to our trip. Both were in great condition and Apple was very easy to work with.

We have used them 2 times. Once last May and again this past January. No issues, clean and there when we needed it. We have another reservation for this May with them.

There was nothing specifically wrong with our stroller...it just was more worn and didn't drive as easily as the strollers we have previously rented from other companies. Mostly it's the problems that other members reported plus the constant barrage of new Dis members with RAVE reviews of Apple that makes me not want to use them. These reviews are obviously solicited or posted by Apple employees.

I am glad to hear a few people have used them. I am still debating. One more question, I recently purchased a Chicco toddler stroller. We are driving and wanted to get some thoughts on just taking our in stroller? Good idea? Bad idea? Pros & cons?

Do you like that stroller? Is it light/compact, easy to maneuver, and easy to fold? If yes, I would just bring it. If not, I would rent a City Mini...they are soooo easy to use.

Pretty much this. We had a Uppababy G Lite that I loved, it was the best travel stroller. I brought it to disney and loved using it there. now with the twins a double will hog too much space in the car to drive down so I'm renting.

We used Apple stroller last Sept and it was fine. It was clean and didn't seem that worn. We usually took our own but it was hard to get ds to want to use it. The city mini seemed more like a toddler stroller that he could climb in and out of. We loved it so much after the rental we bought a city micro for our trips. Our friends are renting the double for our next trip.
