Can someone who was recently at WDW verify the prices for single stroller rentals, Is there a discount for staying on property for 10 days? Just trying to decide whether we should shlep our stroller or just rent one for DS to take rests on. TIA

you can buy a length of stay pass which can actually be any number of days (other than 1), i believe it's a $2 per day discount on single strollers.

$15 per day for a single or $13 with the length of stay

WOW....$130 for our duration is A LOT to pay for their rentals! Think I will schlep mine in that case.

or depending on the age/size of your child, you can just buy a kolcraft stroller at WDW for $40.

Yeah, we always get a double stroller when we go. Matter of fact we had to leave three days early on or Feb. trip this year due to illness, and I still have my stroller pass with 3 days left on it. Do you think I will be able to use those three days in Nov? Also does anyone that has been to Disney lately noticed a drop in the rental strollers at the parks. The price doubled, for who knows what reason and, although those are things are great for us because our kids are bigger, it is still pretty steep for a 5 day rental on a double stroller.

I know that Disney is strict about the type of stroller that you can bring into the park. Does anyone know if you can bring in a single front wheel stroller? Thanks.

Why not bring an umbrella stroller (small folding stroller) from home? They are under $10 and you can manouver much more easily thru the crowds. That's what we've done in the past and it works out great.

this is the first i have ever heard of Disney being strict about the type of stroller brought into the parks. i think i have seen just about every type over the years...if anyone has info on stroller restrictions, please speak up. we are bringing a double bike trailer/stroller that has a front stroller wheel conversion.

Q. Are there any personal items I should not bring with me into the Theme Parks?

A. Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
Alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind
Folding chairs
Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
Pets (unless they are service animals)
In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.


Note: Guests are not permitted to pull items behind them. Any item that requires a Guest to pull it behind them, including a stroller, is not permitted into the Park.

I took a large wheel jogging stroller (one wheel in the front) in May 2007 with no problem...no one even gave me a second glance. I have never heard of there being any sort of restrictions on strollers at WDW...now they do require you to fold them (no matter how big, small, OR if you have it packed like a mule) anytime you get onto a bus.
