Note: I made this for my sister-in-law, trying to convince her to use these strollers instead of Disney's. Both companies are cheaper and the strollers are obviously more comfortable. However, I have no personal experience with these strollers or rental companies. If you have had any experience with these strollers or rental companies, please comment below.

Please write your own reviews here. I got all my info from each companies website, so if it is incorrect, please insert a link to the correct info.

i have used orlando stroller rentals for a week rental when my kids were 6 and 3. loved it. so comfy ,soooo easy, to push easy to fold, reclines, storage kind of smallish but okay, no rain cover but i carried clothes pins and a dollar store poncho. i wanted to go home an buy that stroller i loved it so much....but no need for a double stroller at home since ds was 6.
i used the disney rental only for the epcot day when we did world showcase when kids were 7 and 4. (they walked the other 6 days.) it was fine for that. kids thought it was fun, easy to get in and out of (pro or con depending on kid i guess;) ) also pushed easy , with kids that age it is nice to not deal with lugging it on the buses and such, again no rain cover, same thing poncho to cover, no recline for naps.
my vote is for the city mini for anyone 3 or younger. 4 and up i think either one is ok. good luck

eta, if you want it for downtown disney or similar orlando stroller rentals is the way to go

I totally agree!! We rented from Orlando Stroller Rental for our last trip, and we will be renting again this fall. The City Mini Double for easy to push, easy for the kids to get in & out of (they were 2 & 4 at the time of our last trip), easy to fold, and we didn't have any issues with it on the busses. If I had a need for a double stroller at home I would buy one!

We weren't sure about renting a stroller either, since both DS's will be 4&5 on the trip.

I am so glad I went to Babies R Us and BuyBuy Baby to check out these strollers. We put the boys in several different types and pushed em around the store.

I was amazed, but even more amazing was that DH actually agreed that we would be renting :)

We decided on the BOB dullie double. That thing pushed with 1 freakin finger. Since we have our own car we'll be fine, but if we didn't I'd happily go with the city mini for the ease of folding and a smaller fold size for the buses

Plug for Magic Strollers here - we used them in April 2011 and they were wonderful. We have a (just turned) 5 year old DD and there was no way I was buying a stroller for her that we would never use except at WDW.

Loved having the parent console and the rain cover (which we thankfully didn't need). They delivered everything on time and texted me when the stroller arrived at our hotel AKV. The City Mini is a wonderful stroller- wish we had one when DD was little, very easy to fold and take in car, on the bus, etc.

The price is pretty comparable between both companies and both get good reviews so I am sure either is fine, I just liked the console to hold a drink, keys, etc..

To me the other advantage to not renting from WDW is that you can take the stroller with you to the hotel, DTD, and other resorts. Don't forget the walk to the hotel room can be FAR..we stayed at AKV last December and the walk to our room was probably 1/4 mile - No Kidding - and the stroller came in handy after a long day in the park.

Used Orlando Stroller Rentals for our trip last year and plan to use them again this year. We rented the City Elite which was easy to push and the weight limit accomodated both kids....we rented it for DS3 who was 2 at the time, but his big sis snuck in a couple of times when she was all tuckered out! DH loved that it handled easily going over curbs and bumps. It folds like a dream too! We loved having it with us all the time. The Disney strollers just look so uncomfortable and harder to control, plus I think they're expensive for what you're getting compared to the rentals from Orlando Stroller Rentals or Magic Strollers. :thumbsup2

I have reserved the City Elite Single from Kingdom Strollers in Orlando for our upcoming September trip! They have been very helpful and respond to emails within minutes. They also deliver and pick up from all the Disney hotels and I love that their return time on day of departure is 5pm!! All of their strollers also have the parent consoles and they offer rain covers for no extra charge!

Here's a link: https://www.kingdomstrollers.com/Default.aspx

They are also reasonably priced and cheaper than the other companies.:banana::banana:

Thanks for the tip! This will make stroller rental MUCH more affordable. I like what one site said about how to avoid theft... remove one of the rear wheels (which, they say, is easy and fast)... so that's a good way to save $ if you don't want to buy the insurance. :woohoo:

Well... happy planning everyone!
