Stroller Rental or Buy?

On our next trip we will have a 6, 4 and 1 year old. We do not come out of the parks for naps because it just never worked for us they did better napping in the stroller.

So with three kids the 1 year old is the only one in a stroller at home so we only own one stroller and will bring it (umbrella stroller).
I know the 4 year old will need one to nap in and he just would tire out. I am wondering about the 6 year old getting through 6 full park days in June without needing a little help. He is super small for hus age so fitting in one won't be a problem.
If I just buy another umbrella stroller for the 4 year the 6 yr old will be out of luck as both adults will be already pushing a stroller.
I have thought about just buying a sit n stand and then all 3 will be covered. We only go to Disney every 2 or 3 years so I only two maybe three uses out of it.
I also thought of renting a double.

Any thoughts? As of now he said sure I'll sit in a stroller because I might be tired.

I would rent a Double for the older 2 and either bring the one from home for the 1yo or rent a single too. I was just there last week and rented the City Mini GT Double for my just shy of 40# 4yo & very petite 9yo daughter. The 9yo looks 7 and can still fit easily in sizes 6/6x. Any who we are commando tourist so it was worth every cent to just have them hop in and easily move from place to place. They each dosed off at times in it so it was nice to find a shady spot with a bench or just use the child swap when one was sleeping. We used Kingdom Stroller rental and it was on time very clean and in excellent condition. I will be using them again. ;0)

I agree, I'd rent the double. If the 6 year old doesn't sit in it much you can use the extra space for bags/packages so people don't have to carry as much.

Here's what I would do: BUY a double stroller ahead of time. (and bring the single for your youngest.)

(I know nothing about brands anymore, but a quick stop at Walmart.com found this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dream-On-Me-Twin-Stroller-Red/21578047 ) "

Dream On Me Twin Stroller, Red:•Stroller designed for children up to 60 lbs
•2 fully reclining seats
•5-point safety harness
•2 adjustable canopies
•Abundant storage space for necessities
•7" plastic tires
•Stroller weight: 26.5 lbs
•Aluminum frame

It will cost a little more than renting in Orlando. But you'll have your stroller in the airport-- think delayed flight, tired kids... You'll have it whenever you need it.

Even if it only lasts this one trip, it will be money well spent. (And not a whole lot, given the cost of bringing a family of 5 to WDW for a week or so.)

Even 2 uses you'd probably be ahead buying something and bringing vs renting. I have 4 kids 9,6,3&2 the city mini GT accommodates all the kids so they switch out I wear the 2 year old in an ergo.

We took 2 double strollers our last trip in December because we had late New Years nights and long days. Don't get anything too cheap the frustration of their lack of quality isn't worth it.
