Stroller Rental if driving?

Ugh! I am having a hard time justifying renting a stroller but it's the convenience that's drawing me toward it. I've done my homework and got my pricing. For the week it's $80. My Dd is 2.5 and we have a Chicco cortina full size stroller and a Maclaren umbrella/lightweight. For simplicity and convenience we would bring the Maclaren but my daughter will not nap in it because it doesn't have much of an incline. She will however nap in the Chicco if it's reclined but it's SO bulky for a road trip and not to mention it doesn't have a rain cover either. We drive to Disney since it's only 6 hrs. Help!

I have done both and I recommend renting. They come with rain covers, recline almost flat, and foldup small enough to use them on the Buses if you choose to ride them. Then you can bring the Maclaren along for the ride to WDW and not have to take up a lot of space when packing.

I have to use a double stroller for my trips, but I think I would feel the same if I only had to get a single. My kids sleep very well in them. I rented a Citi Mini GT Double from Baby Wheels Orlando and am getting ready to rent again in December.

I just booked a mini GT from baby wheels. They were the cheapest in price and had a coupon code I used which pretty much paid the difference in a City Mini vs City Mini GT

Have you used it at WDW, though? Kids can nap just about anywhere after long days at WDW.

Yes.. It was the worst lol Every time we thought she was starting to doze off she would wake up be cause we would either stop pushing or she would hear something. Funny thing is she is an amazing sleeper otherwise, always has been.

For our last trip we packed the stroller and left the ice chest behind. I figure it's cheaper for me to buy food and drinks when I get there than it is to rent the stroller.

We put a couple suitcases in the back seat with a blanket over it for my dd to lean against to nap.
