Stroller rental elsewhere?

Does anyone know a good place to rent strollers? I heard there is places other then at Disneyland.

We found this web site diapers.com, and for orders over $45 there is no delivery $$...we are getting them to deliver to our hotel and there is no problem with that and ok we are also ordering diapers so that easily puts us over the $45 minimum! You just call them up, let them know what you want and what delivery date and viola! One less thing to worry about!:cheer2:

The strollers are affordable ($15 - $30) so if you stay for more then a few days it pays for itself and then after you could ask hotel to donate it or "gift it" to some other family.

Well, that is what we have come up with so far anyway! Have a great time @ DLR! We are there Dec. 7-16:banana::dance3:

Yeah, probably not worth it to rent one. You could go buy one at Target or as the PP mentioned buy one online and get it shipped to your hotel. If you are flying, stroller check is free (if you already have a stroller)

Having them sent is a good idea. We are flying so I think we will bring ours. Now we just need to decide if we want to bring 2 umbrella strollers or the double (sit and stand)?? Also wondering if we should bring the backpack carrier?...lol! I dont want to have any regrets! I heard the tropicana hotel rents them out really cheap and they recline??? We are staying at the Embassy Dec 10-14th:)

How old are your kids? If there is any chance of your kids falling asleep I would not bring just umbrella strollers. It is nice to have a full size stroller to lug your stuff around in too (umbrella strollers tend to fall over if there is not a kid sitting in it and you have something hanging on the handles)

DD used her Disney stroller *Mac Volo* in the evenings of our trip last week. She fell asleep most nights and was comfy ~ she is older *a petite 7 year old* The Volo is a nicer umbrella stroller and yes it does tip over if something is hanging on the back and DD hops out - so I just make sure I remove whatever is hanging before she does so.

I highly recommend having your own stroller. We bought these for our four-year-old (really tall -- 46") twins specifically for our trip. They are awesome because they go up to 50 lbs (which is unheard of for an umbrella stroller). They worked great, are lightweight, and as a PP said, they are free on the airplane. P.S. way better than the "Jet" stroller.

Hopefully they still fit them in May when we go again!

I have 4 year old triplets. I need a double stroller AND a single one. I have my own but...can I ride ART and Disney Railroad with strollers?

Yes, you can--but you will have to collapse your strollers. Same thing for the monorail, you have to collapse the stroller.

We rented from travelbabees.com last summer. We also ordered diapers and wipes from the same company. We had a few issues with them but they did have decent customer service and they attempted to make things right.

We got to our hotel early in the morning and the stroller wasn't there yet. We expected that to happen though. We put our 10 month old dd in the front carrier and headed to the parks. A few hours later we went back to the hotel for naps and the stroller was there, with a broken harness and the diapers were missing. I called and got an answering machine. I left a message and sent an email and left them our room number at the the hotel as well as our cell phone number. I got a call back within an hour. They were out of the diapers we had ordered so they gave us a credit as well as a percentage off of our stroller. They also sent someone to swap out the other stroller right away. We ended up using a BOB jogger (same stroller we usually use at home) for about $70 for the week. Not having the diapers did bother me but I had packed enough for a couple of days and we did have a car so dh just went to the store one night as I was putting kids to bed.

I would use them again BUT I would call and confirm they have everything I ordered before arriving.

Thanks, this is exactly what I wanted to know. I will travel with my strollers then. Very helpful!

Wow this is really helpful as well! Great products at great prices...I'm considering renting the strollers. Thank you very much!
