stroller rental cost?

DH and I are debating wether or not to bring our stroller to the parks on our Jan 2-7th trip. I am anticipating low crowds (we dont hit the parks until Jan 3) so we dont worry about them getting lost. We have 2 DD's (4 and 2) who HATE being strapped in a stroller, and it usually winds up holding the diaper bag and souveniers. If we dont bring it with us, how much is it to rent the single or the double. Has anyone tried to rent one late in the day and found there were none available?
Any input would be appreciated!!

OK singles are $8 with a $1 Disney dollar given back when you return the stroller. The double is $15 with the same deposit returned. I never tried an initial rent at the end of the day but I have successfully obtained a stroller late in the day after park hopping.

I think you'll notice that even kids that usually don't like the stroller, are begging to sit in one at WDW. It is just exhausting for their little legs to walk all day. There are also discounts if you rent for more than one day (pay in advance, and doesn't have to be more than one day in a row). We used this the last time & it worked great.

For the multi-day discounts...
What are the prices and where do you buy them? Do you just request multi-day at the stroller booth?

We just returned from WDW yesterday and used the multi-day stroller discount. My DH paid for it - so I can't give you an exact amount, but it was about a 10% discount - which you get in Disney Dollars on the last day of your stroller rental. We rented a stroller for 4 days and rec'd four disney dollars.

There are no signs posted for the discount, so just ask at the stroller rental place at whichever park you're at. We went to AK first - asked for the discount -- no problem! It worked really slick - we received vouchers for the rest of our days' rentals and had no problems with renting stollers at any of the four parks.
