Could anyone here please tell me the cost of renting a single stroller in the WDW parks? We are taking my DGD and haven't rented a stroller for YEARS!!!

From Debs www.allearsnet.com site..

"Strollers may be rented in each of the theme parks for $8 per day for a single and $15 per day for a double (price increase 7/02), and you get a $1 Disney Dollar back when when turning-in your stroller at the last park visited for the day. Reservations are not accepted. If you want to visit more than one park in a given day, retain your stroller receipt and present it at the second park to obtain another stroller at no additional cost."

:)

We rented a double stroller every day during our last trip (I didn't think we would need a double, with our older child being 5 - but it was a great way to keep track of him in the crowds!), and I felt it was well worth the money. I meant to bring my umbrella stroller, but ended up not packing it - and was glad I didn't bring it! Renting was much easier, and was not that much of an added expense!

If you haven't done so yet check out A Baby's Best Friend . We are renting a stroller from them for the week. I would much rather put my dd in a nice comfy stroller than the hard plastic kind they have for rent at the parks. Plus I know that they are clean when I get them from ABBF.

It depends on how much you will use the stroller and the size of the child. I know that at the Wal-mart in Orlando they sell strollers for a lot less than it would cost to rent one at 15 per day for a week. You could buy one of the 10.95 fold ups OR you could purchase one that is a little more money and then just get rid of it at the end. I am sure your hotel could tell you how or where to donate it if you feel this could be a possibility. Either way it is clean and you know your child is the only one who has been in it. Think of the possibilties and what could probably have happned in the rented strollers. YUK!!

If you are spending 105 for 7 days you could spend like 40 for 7 days save and have a new stroller to boot. If you are flying you might be albe to pack it to take back too.

I agree with the above OP. Buy a cheap one and use it for the trip, it will probably cost 3 days rental fee. You won't have to stand in line for rental or to get your dollar back at the end. You may need it when you aren't at the parks as well. Umbrella strollers are easy enough to carry around. A must for airports if you are flying. Get one with a basket under it to carry all the extras!
