Ok..so this thread will be less controversial than my last::yes::

I was wondering what everyone has found to be the BEST stroller for WDW. I have a 2 yr old whos around 28lbs. We decided to bring our own stroller due to the complaints about the strollers at the parks (that I read here! thanks guys) We are looking for a stroller that is easy to push and that reclines so DS can sleep. We have a jeep stroller that we LOVE...however it doesn't recline. DS has fallen asleep in it..but his head bobs around and he doesn't look comfortable. I THOUGHT I saw this little "travel pillow" thing in TRU that you could use in a car seat or stroller. Anyone know anything about that????

Otherwise what's THE best stroller for my DS???

thanks!!!:wave2: :Pinkbounc

my 3yr old slept in them.....but for my baby who will be 15mo when we go back, i'm bringing my combi.........it has 3 positions & it's really light weight.

I am the proud new owner of a Peg Perego Pliko, thanks to LovesDumbo's recommendation (on this board).

It is super lightweight, easy to maneuver, folds up umbrella style very small, big basket on bottom, fully reclines, you name it.

And it has a running board for DD's big brothers to hitch a ride occasionally.

Good luck with whatever you decide!!!

Ahh, the great stroller hunt begins! We have a Jeep Liberty All-terrain 3-wheel stroller and my ds loves it. We took it to WDW this last May and he napped in it every day. I can't say it's the perfect WDW stroller, however, because it is a little bulky when folded up and a little on the heavy side (approx 25lbs). It's rated to hold children up to 45lbs, has a huge basket, extra pockets on the sides, parent cupholders, child cup holder and snack cup, plus a steering wheel ds loves to play with. It also has a decent canopy, which is important in a place like Florida. It had pneumatic (air-filled) all-terrain tires, like a jogging stroller, and the front wheel swivels or can be locked. We got lots of comments from interested parents about it on our last trip to WDW.

We also have a Chicco Capri for short jaunts. It's a lightweight, umbrella style. We will probably use it at WDW once ds gets a little bigger and doesn't need to nap so much but until then we're sticking with the big comfy one.

If you use the search function you will pull up a ton of threads on this subject. You may want to try that. People definitely have their favorites here!

We found the head and neck support from Infantino (http://www.infantino.com/Supports/HeadNeckSupport.html) at Burlington's BabyDepot for $9.95. I love it! Our son outgrew the newborn roll really fast because he is so long. This one doesn't restrict him by height because there is no "top". Our son is 4 mos old and a late bloomer with head control, so I bought 2 of these. One stays in the infant carrier and the other gets swapped back and forth from the bouncy seat to the swing to our new Aria (a step down from the Pliko but lighter weight). I don't worry about his neck falling off now. ;)

I don't know if your son is too big for this support, but give it a try. Maybe someone else knows of one for bigger kids?

We have a combi travel savy dx that has served us very well 3 trips to WDW, one to Vero Beach and many many many trips around town. It folds in on it's self so it is as small as a umbrella, but it has a bar across the front with cup holders on either side (and opens and closes for easy entry.) The canapy is big, the basket is useless. We normally hang things off it and a bag off the back and that works well. It sells for around $100 at strollers4less. (more in other places.) It does recline too.

Peg pergos, McCleans (spelled wrong sorry) and combi's all seem to be good. What ever you do invest in a good small one and it will pay for it's self in a few trips.

I saw a tolder car seat pillow (for stollers too.) at Target the other day ( I was looking for head pillows for a flopy headed 1 month old.)

I've got to say we (me, DH, & 28 pound 19 month old DD) LOVE the Pliko. DD likes that she's sitting straight up and can really see all thats going on rather than an umbrella style where she's partially reclined. She looks very comfy in it and will often nap in it which is great because she's been resisting napping at all lately. The 5 point harness is great because it releases from the back of the seat allowing her to move around. The stroller stands when folded and has a carry handle on the side. I used the stroller this weekend with DS(3 1/2) in the seat and DD(5) on the running board. I think I'll be getting years of use out of this stroller. That being said the Aria may does have a few advantages over the Pliko-its lighter, has a larger basket that is easier to get to and is cheaper. Good luck in your search for a perfect stroller.
