Stroller Rain Cover?

Has anyone had luck using the poncho on a double stroller? I have a side by side jogger and a Graco double Duoglider. If it won't work, does anyone have other ideas for the double strollers.

The disney ponchos have buttons down the sides buy 2 and stick them together??
Thats my idea... If you would like to try it before hand.. go to target and buy 2 ponchos found in the camping areas about $6 each i believe... They tend
Also you can buy a few chip clips.... to keep them together..

Recommed Trying this before you leave....this way you know who it will work out..

I bought the table cover for our side-by-side double. They had round, oval, and oblong. I got the oblong one and it's plenty big to cover our (huge) double!

Thank you for the picture! That looks perfect! I love the idea that my ds's head could fit through the hole so he can at least see out when it's raining. That's awesome! I really appreciate your help!

Dh was laughing at me all last night...
i have to admit it was pretty funny to see his face when i asked him to bring in the stroller and then starting taken pics of it... :rotfl2:

I believe he thought ~~ i had at last gone to the other side of crazy ~~

I when i added the stitch doll... he knew i had lost it...

I thought that was Stitch peeking out!

I used a cheap clear shower curtain liner for my rented double jogging stroller and I attached it with little black binder clips from the $1 store. I'm going to do the same this time for my rented single jogging stroller, but i'll cut the liner to fit it better.

It worked perfectly and didn't blow off in a storm. I couldn't see spending a bunch of money on a cover for a rented stroller.

I love the step by step pictures by Lorilais_mommie!

That's what we did with my son many years ago. DS 19 was only 2 and he sat behind his brother in the stroller, he didn't get the "view." But, the kids stayed dry!

Thank you...
I just hope it helps parents understand how to put a poncho on the stroller...
I can't tell you how many parents i saw trying to get a rain cover over there strollers as the were running to get out of a rain....
poor kids were soaked by the time they got somewhere dry...

I also recommend a practice run before getting to the parks...
If you know its going to rain... and you are planning on buying a poncho anyways.... buy one before it starts to rain!!!
If you don't .... You better believe it will rain cats and dogs when you are in the worst possible place.. Trust me! :rolleyes1
