We will be traveling in Sept with two umbrella strollers. Now I'm wondering about stroller rain covers. I heard someone mention a pop-up kind, but I can't find one like that. I'm wondering what's out there.

What kind do you use?
How much did you pay?
Where did you get it?
How does it work?

I saw some at Babies'R'Us, but it was over a year ago. I don't know if they still carry them or not. And the ones I saw were only single stroller covers.

Someone suggested using an inexpensive clear shower curtain liner, but I haven't tried it yet. . .

:goodvibes

It does have a shade that flips over with flaps that secure on each side. That shade is nice. Have you ever seen it in the store? I might have to head over there this evening. I'd like to try it on the stroller just to make sure.

I've heard people say that they used the cheap ponchos to cover them, but I was just thinking about something more breathable, lol. For when the kids might be in the stroller. Those pop up ones look great.
Any more suggestions?

I haven't seen that cover in the store... but then again i didn't look for it. You could call the store and ask them to see if they have any available. Or just stop by if it is not out of your way.

Well, I need to go to Target tonight. DD needs a new belt. Baby Depot is under Target in our mall, so I can check there too! Thanks everyone!
Let me know if you have any other suggestions for rain covers!

We got an cheap cover from Safety 1st at Kmart I think for like 5 bucks or something. It works great too. Plus it is universal so it fits any umbrella stroller. Just bring a plastic bag to put it in for when the rain shower passes.

For our trip in JAN/FEB 06 I bought single stroller rain covers for our umbrella strollers at Babies R Us. They have mesh on the sides so that the child gets air instead of just being surrounded by plastic. They worked great for us. We had 2 days of rain, so we really used them a LOT! I think they were Graco brand. I'm definitely packing them when we got back in 2007!

Here's a link to the ones I bought...someone is selling them on ebay. I think I paid around $11 each, but not sure on that...
