Hi, I'm taking my 22 month old on his first trip to disney since we are meeting my husbands parents in orlando. Anyway I'm a runner and was thinking of taking my bob revolution and using it at disney too but I'm concerned about theft. Should I bring a bike lock for it? Any recommendation of a specific one? Or is it better to just bring my cheap stroller that doesn't recline but he will sit in (but not nap is my concern, we may go back to the hotel for a nap but I just don't know) We're only doing one day of the magic kingdom but are spending a week at the beach otherwise. Thanks for any advice!

If you are going to worry, definitely purchase a lock of some type. There are a lot of stroller out there for under $100 that recline, have shade and a basket, and are comfortable. The larger stroller might be a pain when traveling, I'm not sure how well it compacts. We own a zooper, it came with a sun shade, rain sheild and has been to Disney parks over 7 trips and has endured many naps.

I would just buy an umbrella stroller. Disney can be so overwhelming and exhausting for the little ones. My son fell asleep in the umbrella stroller during the parade at MK.

Sounds like your stroller might be expensive. I would just get a less expensive one for Disney. But comfort and stability are important. I'll tell you though, I saw a LOT of very expensive strollers in the parks at Disney without locks.

If you do lock it, be sure you park it in a designated spot for strollers... because, if not, cast members will move your stroller! We thought our stroller was taken once and it was just moved. If it happens to you, ask a nearby cast member.

And I heard, if they move it because you are parked "illegally", they may cut the lock.

do you think this would work? i found it locally on craigslist for 50 dollars

reviews say the sunshade isn't amazing though, I am going in march so is that something I should worry about it?

I really appreciate the advice!
