Hi! We are going to Disney with our 3 and 4 year old kids and are thinking about renting a double stroller. Question....do the strollers have belts to keep the kids in, or are they more like little carts that they can get in and out of by themselves? (If we can't strap them in there, we are definitely bringing ours!)
Thanks!!

They do have seatbelts, but they don't do a great job of keeping a child restrained. They just go around the waist, ie no crotch strap to prevent escape. If you're trying to keep your kids from running away and getting out of the stroller, bring your own. These strollers weren't built for complete restraint, also they aren't comfortable. They are made of a hard plastic and I'd much rather bring my stroller!!!

My kids can undo the restraints. Wouldn't matter if they had a crotch strap or not - my kids learned how to undo restraints pretty early. With the rentals, because they sit so low to the ground, its probably best if your kids can buckle and unbuckle themselves - you'd get quite the backache bending down to do it.

We love the rentals though, especially for older kids. At 3 and 4 its difficult for a lot of kids to fit comfortably in a standard stroller. My kids didn't mind the plastic and were quite comfortable in there. Wouldn't want it for an eleven month old.
