Stroller help

Help, arrived two days ago with our 6 year old thinking we would not need a stroller but the heat is killing her and we now wish we had one with us, the ones for hire are so expensive and the one to buy is a bit too small any ideas on where I can get hold of a cheap but sturdy stroller?? We are here for 3 weeks!

We had wonderful luck with Baby Wheels Orlando - you can call or reserve a stroller online, and it will be delivered to wherever you are staying. Pricing is $80-90 for 9 nights plus $5 per additional night. Our kids were actually almost 6 and 8 when we rented our double stroller, but it literally saved the trip - no whining about being tired, no complaining that their feet hurt, we were spared from providing piggy back rides, and we had a place to store everything! Even the youngest could unfold the stroller and re-fold it one-handed. It was the best money we could have spent!

Not sure where you are staying but if your staying on site then Disney only have a few preferred stroller companies that they use. These companies are allowed to leave the stroller at bell services rather than you having to wait for the stroller company in the lobby.


We have always used Orlando Stroller Rentals and never had any problems - https://www.orlandostrollerrentals.com we paid about $130 for 3 weeks with insurance.


They are one of disneys preferred companies. I'm not sure on the others, think it may be magic strollers and kingdom strollers - check with front desk as they have a leaflet telling you about it. I think they all pretty much use the city mini pushchairs which are quite large and sturdy.

Your other option would be to pop to Walmart but I'm not sure if they sell anything more than umbrella style strollers which may not be suitable depending on how big your DD is.
