I know there are alway stroller questions on here, sorry for adding another one. I have a DS turning 7 right before we leave. He is smallish--46 inches and 48lbs clothed. I do not know if he will need a stroller or not:confused3
We took it last time we went at 5 1/2 years. I do not want him to look silly riding, but yet I do not want to pay rental prices either when we decide he is too tired. Heck I think there are days at disney I would ride if I could. THe other issue is if we decide to take a stroller we need a new one. We are just liscensed as foster parents and will be having children 3 and younger. No with my kiddo being 48 lbs will we destroy a 40lb limit stroller if he rides in occasionally for a week at disney. Is the Maclaren Volo the only one with a 55lb limit. We would rather have one that reclines for use with future children. Any suggestions on
1. Too old to ride???
2. Stroller to purchase
would be so much appreciated. TIA
Oh by the way we are going thanksgiving week so I expect it to be crowded and parks (esp. MK) open late.

All of the Macs have high limits (I like the Quest, the Techno XLR is 65lbs). The Baby Jogger City Elite has a 75lb limit, the Baby Planet Solo has a 55/65lb limit. There are a lot of them out there. If you think you might have newborns the Techno XLR is a great choice because it'll accommodate an infant seat. Whatever you do, just make sure your child isn't too tall. My 4.5yo is only 31lbs soaking wet, but often too tall to be comfortable in strollers. We're taking a Combi Twin Savvy for my girls when we go to Disney this winter, but she barely fits, but I'm not about to pay rental prices, she does fit better than many strollers, my regular double would be way to tricky on the buses (Phil & Ted's E3, which I LOVE), and I got it for $65. Win, win, win, win.

Thanks Sirrani I will look at those. I think the techno might be above our spending limit but I will look. I may be remembering the wrong stroller.

Anybody know anything about the Graco IPO or the Joovy Kooper. Both look like they have a 50lb limit it looks like.
