Sorry, for yet another stroller question. I'm pregnant and due in Jan.  :dance3: :dance3: We will be going to WDW in Oct. and I need new stroller. I don't want to spend $$$ in Oct and in Jan so I would like to buy one that will work for both WDW and after the baby is born. DS will be 2.5 in Oct. so he will be too big for the strollers where the toddler rides on the back and I don't know if he would like that anyway. Any advice? I would be so grateful.

I love the Maclarens. They are a bit more than some others, but well worth the investment. I just bought a Mac Quest for our new addition (due in Oct) and will use it when she gets to be about 6 months. It doesnt have full recline, but the Techno does and holds up to 65 pounds. If I didnt already have the stroller/car seat combo I would have bought the Techno instead of the Quest and used it from birth. They are great strollers, very sturdy and I wish I had known about these 18 years ago when I had my first child. I just discovered them a few years back when I needed one for DD6 only for a Disney trip. We bought the Maclaren Volo for her and loved it. It holds up to 55 pounds and still pushes easily with DD8 in it. It does not recline, though, but works great for her when she needed it at Disney.
I got mine off of www.albeebaby.com for $120 shipped

Not sure what kind of stroller you are looking for but we just got the joovy caboose ultralight and love it. It is a sit and stand stroller where the toddler can either sit on a bench in the back or stand. Our DS is 3 and it certainly has enough room for him....other DS is 7 months. The front part comes with an attachment that holds many of the infant car seats. But....we are not taking it to WDW because we would like a place for our DS(3) to also sleep in case they both fall asleep at the same time....so, we will be taking to smaller strollers instead.

I have a DD2.5, DS5 and another on the way due in August. I have the Sit N' Stand and love it. My son still sits on the seat when he needs a lift and it was perfect for Disney!!! 2.5 is young to have to walk so I suggest a double stroller of some type. I also have a Graco Ultralite and love it (single) for short trips out or when I just have DD2.5. I have a single Mclaren and honestly don't use it much--I really enjoy the large basket and tray that the Graco offers. I plan on buying the Caboose Ultra Lite as mentioned above. I have a stroller addiction!!!

I bought one specifically for WDW when our son was 11 mos old. It cost about $40, was perfect on 5 or 6 subsequent trips, until we deliberately left it behind at the resort, when he clearly wouldn't be using it on our next trip.

It was of the "lightweight" size. It fully reclined, had a canopy and huge basket underneath. It had cup holders for the pusher and a snap off tray with cup holder for the rider. Snap off is important because when they get older, you want them to be able to climb in and out easily.

Here's one on Babiesrus.com, now that looks about the same...http://www.toysrus.com/product/inde...83.2256189.2256203&view=all&parentPage=family

I love love love our Maclaren Twin Traveller. My g/f just returned from WDW with hers and she said it folded up just fine for on and off the bus.
It is a lovely stroller but heavy. But it is ideal for an infant. When my DD was a newborn, we used a "Snuzzler" on the seat with her and it just gave her the extra padding she needed. Now the kids are 2 and 4 and the TT is still going strong. Our only pet peeve is it is soooo heavy to push with our little chubbies in there!
When we are home we use a Chariot Cougar 2 because it is SO lightweight and a wonderful wonderful stroller/bike trailer. It is a MACHINE! I wish we could take it to WDW but it's much too big and folds in a million pieces.

I have had more strollers than I do kids (4) and nothing (no matter the $) beats my $40 jeep stroller I purchased at Walmart!

I'm loving my new Phil & Ted's!

Works well as a double (and can accomodate a newborn, as it lays *completely* flat), with a tiny turning radius, breezy steering, great ride, and long useable life (main seat holds up to 55lbs) - with the added bonus of only using a single strollers' footprint (oh, and it's a kickin' single too, when you don't need it as a double).

Pricey, but there are deals out there to be had (we got *soooo* lucky with ours!)!

I have a phil & teds and i love it too but if your 2.5yo is tall he may have some leg room troubles. plus it's kind of heavy for use in disney, i'm bringing my inglesina swift in sept. if i was having another baby though, i'd get an inglesina urbe. bigger wheels than the macs, taller too. pushes great, sturdy... i'm a stroller JUNKIE.
