Stroller for 3 1/2 month old? UPDATE

We'll be at Disney World with our new baby in November. He should be almost 3 months at the time. I was between the city mini & b-agile. I ended up choosing the b-agile with accessories & b-safe car seat. I love the weight, size, how easy it folds & the accessories Britax had available for the stroller (organizer, bug net, rain guard, etc).

Now I'm just hoping all goes well with an infant on our trip!

Good luck on your trip! I keep hearing good things about taking an infant vs a toddler so i'm hoping it will be easy. And congratulations!

We purchased a stroller bag after ours got damaged on one trip, they dont always let you gate check sadly

Yep, i'm definitely looking into a stroller bag. I'm not paying $250 for a stroller only to have it returned to me damaged. I think we'll be flying with American Airlines to Orlando and then with Southwest back to LA. Does it say on their websites if you're allowed to gate check strollers? I know you're allowed to check strollers in for free when you're checking in before security...

You can definitely gate check your stroller on Southwest. We have been doing it for years now. Just be sure to get a gate check tag ahead of time. We usually get ours right at the gate before they start lining the A, B, and C groups up.

You will love your City Mini! We bought ours a few years back for our dd(now 4 1/2). It is a great WDW stroller! The sun canpoy goes almost all the way down to cover the little one, and I love the vent above the head when the little one is inside with the stroller reclined and the canopy down...you get great ventilation. The handle is nice and tall for my DH, it pushes so easily and the fold is amazing. We are taking ours back again for our October trip. We do have the snack tray, but I agree you wont need it for an infant. I like to be able to put dd's cup and snacks on it as we push through the parks. You can always add it later.
I would suggest tagging your stroller as there are lots of BJCM's in WDW. I have DH print off a sign on regular copy paper and add some Disney characters on it and our name, like.."Gurley Family Stroller" or "Alexa's Royal Ride"...then we laminate it and attatch it to the handle with zip ties so it cant be torn off. We make a couple of smaller signs for the sides of the stroller and attatch them the same way. It makes it much easier for you to spot your stroller:goodvibes
We took our youngest to WDW for her first trip when she was 3 mos old and it was great. She was an angel and so easy. We got lots of great character pictures and we found that she really loved the rides and shows...especially Small World, and Country Bears. She was mezmorized by all the sites and sounds. Congrats to you and have fun with your new little one:goodvibes
