We're going in September and it will be hot - we know because we always go in September.
Our baby will be 10 months old and I'm thinking of using a stroller fan.
Has anyone used one before?
I see the super cute Mickey ones you can get at the parks, but I have also seen cheap ones at my local stores.

I'm wondering how long the batteries last, if they actually do anything do cool the baby down - I figure just the circulating air will be good even if it's not cold. And also about safety, being 10 months old I don't want her sticking her fingers or mouth into the actual fan.

We used one last trip & will again this trip. I actually use mine daily as DS likes daily morning walks & our temps are comparable to WDW here so it’s hot!!! It works great!! Ours is rechargeable by cell battery pack. We got 2 for this trip b/c the battery only lasts a few hours. So, we can charge one while using the other.

Then clip fans are handy!!! And now I’m going to look for a rechargeable one <3

What brand do you have ?

We have an 02Cool 5" Clip Fan for our stroller. It's kind of bulky but a powerful fan with a sturdy grip on the clip. I've never run it more than an hour or two at a time so I can't speak of how long the batteries last. But now that someone mentioned a rechargeable fan I am curious about that option as well.

We use a clip on one that we got from Amazon. It takes AA batteries, and you don't need a screwdriver to change them. We were in the parks for 5 days, with the fan getting heavy use, and we only needed to replace the batteries once.

We got one on Amazon that you can recharge. We haven’t used at Disney yet but used it last summer at the pool all the time. I would recommend one. Check out Amazon.

We used a rechargeable one and a fuel rod.

But also if you don't mind if your child is a little wet, one year we were watching DGS while parents were on ride. I poured some ice water on the stroller tray. He had a great time slapping his hands in the water. Kept him happy and the water helped to cool him. Another time, DGS was sleeping but was looking flushed. Took him into shade and laid a damp cooling towel over him like a blanket and held the fan to blow over him. 15 mins later, flushed face was gone.
