Stroller Covers?

We rented a double stroller last year and loved it. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for a cover to put over it for when we got in rain...again. The kids had on ponchos,but I would like to have a cover for them too.

I'm bringing two larger disposable, plastic table clothes with a few clothes pins to attach it. Haven't actually used it yet, but I heard it somewhere on the boards a while back. Hope this helps!

I read in a trip report, that they bought a $1 shower cutain, that just folded up from the dollar store.

Kept everthing dry and was easy to spot.

Maybe you are looking for a solution that doesn't involve you buying a stroller cover, but I think the generic covers that Toys'Rus sells are your best option. They are fairly inexpensive. The covers intended for side-by-side doubles should fit the Disney strollers. They have ventilation. The kids can see out. They have velcro so that you can easily attach the cover to the stroller. Trying to clothespin a shower curtain seems like a big hassle -- especially since you often have to throw the cover on in a hurry to beat the rain!

I did the shower curtain and clips on my double stroller. I used it christmas day in the parks and we went merrily on our way and the kids stayed dry. It was wonderful!

I bought one last year for my single stroller and I loved it. It was from Protect a bub, I bought it on ebay or amazon. It is not all that hard vinyl so it folded up in to a little carry sack. It was black with a vinyl window and when I got back to the room I would hang it on the shower curtain and it would be dry by morinng and I would fold it back in to the sack and it was super easy. it also covered the whole stroller so everything stayed dry. I looked hard to find a decent one because I hate those big huge stiff vinyl unfoldable ones, they are impossible to refold and they take up so much room after the first use. They did sell double stroller versions too!
