We were looking around to get ideas on what the kids wanted for school, last year they had a hard time finding the ones they wanted as we waited too long. So we found some shoes for one daughter and the other was eyeing up the EMU boots. I told them no we are not getting anything today I just wanted to check out the prices and selection, and want to look to see if I can find a discount.
So I checked for coupons online and found one for 20% off a $50 purchase and since the two items we needed would have been just that I printed it.
Well we were at the mall a couple days later and Stride Rite had extra 25% off clearance sale. Cool these $58 boots were marked down to $24.95 take the 25% down to apx $20 well then it did not hit my $50 mark to get another 20% off. So I picked up a pair of the boots as a gift so I could use the extra 20% coupon.
I was able to get 2 pair of EMU boots and a pair of gym shoes for less than I had budgeted for just the 2 pair we were going to get. I spent $48 for 3 pair of shoes. (That was $170 worth of shoes for $48)
