Hi All!

DS 7 is questioning... can you believe that some kids in his class are telling him that there is no Santa? Oye... so, we are looking for some fun ideas to prove that Santa came on Christmas Eve.

Here are mine so far...

Santa's Magic Dust (glitter) scattered at the door, over the presents under the tree and on the table near his cookies. We've done this in the past and the kids were AMAZED!
:p

New one... How about putting a pile of those KitKat Bites (or other small round chocolate candies) out on the roof so they can see them from their bedroom window? Now, I can hope for NO SNOW on the roof, so I don't have to worry about leaving hoofprints.

Another idea, based on the same, would be leaving reindeer food out on the lawn and then leaving the poop next to it for the morning, but then they might pick it up and see it is chocolate! lol... ;) Better on the roof where they can't get to it (of course the Mom in me would worry they WOULD try to get it! )

Any other ideas out there? What have you done to prolong the magic? What other tricks have you played?

Thanks!

Karen

My DD is 8 1/2 and says she still believes
I'm 35 and I still believe in Santa in my heart
So does my mother
last year when she was 7 1/2 I told her when she suggested she might not believe that she better hope there is a santa because momma doesn't have any money for presents
She wrote her list out the next day

My Dad actually went out the hall window onto the garage roof one year with a flexible flyer sled and left footprints and sled tracks in the snow!!!

Oldest 2, 13 and 14, don't but DS 10-think it will be his last year, DS 8, and DD 6 still do. I think my oldest 2 were afraid to say anything to me because they were afraid I would be hurt. They told DH and he told me. They think it is great to help keep the Santa magic alive with the younger ones as well. I had a neighbor friend who told me when I was 6-her parents did not want their children brought up with any illusions or fairy tales.....but guess what I will be 40 this week and I still do!

This is the first year J.C. knows for sure...hes 12! I'm lucky it lasted as long as it did. I still believe in my heart though and he will still get Santa gifts.

I always wrote the tags from Santa in a very flourishing script instead of my ordinary writing. Looked way different. I tried not to use the same wrapping paper for non-Santa presents. When I left the note from Santa (thanks for the cookies and milk), I used the same writing as on the tags.
