Stressed!!!

Our memories wedding is scheduled for 10-11. Mailed my contract last week and was delivered on Thursday. I emailed my planner, and got an automated response that she's on vacation!!! So I emailed the general email and she said if I sent it to the po box, they'd have it by Monday afternoon or Tuesday. They said they wouldn't release my date without contacting me first but I'm freaking out over here!!

I have so many life things going on right now and have a low set point anyway but I'm all stressed about this. We still have to find and buy suits, a ring, accessories... Aaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

I am surprised your planner didn't warn you she was going out on vacation...is she out a for only a couple of days or like 2 weeks?

Have you been working with her a long time? Because if that was me, and if I wasn't working with her for that long and I wasn't told she would be away on vacation...I'd be pissed and would ask to change planners...

I'm remembering my planner had a vacation during our planning process and she gave me fair warning and we wrapped up a lot of stuff before she left. (I was an Escape bride, but got way more communication than just the one official phone call)

I have not been working with her for a long time... This is being planned like 7 weeks out. However if you ask me, all the more reason to tell me you're going on vaca!!! I paid all kinds of deposits and am trying to do a lot in a short period of time. I sent an email, and got a reply that she's out until next Monday.

I am just hoping and praying it all works out. Really, Disney is GREAT at taking people's money (and I don't mean that in a bad way)
And not having my deposit charged to me yet is stressing me out. I still have to pick florals etc...

And I don't mean to say it in a negative way... But I'm "just" a memories bride... Not going all out here... Just me, fiancé and his two kids... But I want it to be special for all of us. But they're not making a killing on what I'm spending (even though bypassing the photographer).

you and I probably have the same planner as mine is on vacation this week. If you look at her signature it stated on there her vacation plans. In either case you can always email wdw.weddings.memories@disney.com and they will respond to you right away.

Maybe we do! But I don't have that info on the signature... Just new office hours. I did finally get my wedding kit from another planner. This will keep me busy for a little while anyway!!
