DH and I are going to Disney in February and we're spending Wednesday of the week we'll be there at US. During our last trip we did USIOA for the day and had a great time, but US is new to us completely.

Any strategies for rides to hit first or things to skip??

What's your must-do thing at US?

Thanks for any insight you can provide :)

despicable me is my first choice.

in october i used the express line and each time ended up with a wait.

TF is another great ride.

go to the website and see what is in the studios if you are not familiar with it.

get the layout of the land, see where the RR are located, and the eateries and their menus.

if you learn that stuff before hitting the park, you can plan better.

horror make up show and animal actors show are both great.
catch the street shows if you can.
the mini shows with the minionions and blues brothers...

I would agree with seeing Despicable Me first even though we haven't been since Transformers opened. We like to then head to the other side of the park and ride Men in Black and the Simpsons.

Revenge of the Mummy is probably my favorite ride anywhere. We love Christopher Walken so Disaster is a must and Terminator is great in the afternoon when you just want to sit and rest for a bit. We also just enjoy wandering around the New York area. The Blues Brothers put on a great show.

As for attractions to skip, I wouldn't go out of my way to see Twister even though it has a great queue and isn't horrible.

totally love the rides planogirl stated!

include those in your list of rides to hit.

After going in Aug this year i attempted to gram in to much in one sitting

i recommend doing a ride then a show
Ride then a show

Give you a chance to recover as after Simpsons and other 3d rides i felt little bit sick.

Nm the heat in Aug.

So next aug am going to take it very slow.
Sometimes the queues are a blessing as i don't have a iron stomach like the wife.

Getting fast passes for TF and Despicable me may be worth looking into as those get busy. (depending time of year ya go)

I recommend the shows as well as the ride shows the like horror make up show was fantastic them to women that host it was so so so funny.

But yeah that's my advice for those who just cant handle the extreme .

What is everyone's thoughts on the Rip Ride Rockit and when we should hit that?

How intense is it on a scale of Barnstormer to Hulk?

RRR is much rougher but not as fast/intense as HULK. That said it is WAY more intense than Barnstormer, I would say roughly closer to Expedition Everest in intensity and still probably slightly more intense.

Awesome, thanks for the insight! Now I'm super excited to ride it!

How bad is Dr. Doom's Fearfall? On the fence about that one. I did not really like Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and this one looks worse! :scared1:

Thanks to all!

I am so used to ToT that this completely caught me off guard: it shoots you up instead of dropping you down. Also unlike ToT, there's only one big "drop", and it's the same every time. I think ToT is way more intense.

If you're on the fence and the line is long, I would honestly say "skip it". The ride itself is super short, and you could be waiting for something else you KNOW you'll love.

That being said, it does provide some awesome views of Orlando...

doom is great !!!

opposite of TOT.

doom shoots you up quickly and has a very slow descent.

it is my favorite ride.

Dr doom an Spider-Man were awesome.
I felt like a kid again. Harry potter is my fav and can't wait for this summer for more Harry potter
