Strategy for Military Booking

Just wanted to clue some of the military folks into something I did for our upcoming vacation. We've got three nights reserved at the Contemporary via the military (Shades of Green) rate. I wanted an extra night tacked onto the beginning, but unfortunately there were no more available. I then asked about the contract rate, which is $20 a night more. They had an opening for the night I needed. Now there is a possibility that we'll have to move rooms (we have two separate reservations), but we've booked the same kind of room and I was told to alert reception at check in and see if they can work it out.

Olaf- we did just that last April when we brought our niece and nephew to WDW. We had two rooms reserved and both reservations were combined at check-in, we never had to switch rooms
