Hi guys, ok, it's only 12 more days and I'm starting to plan our time out....please bare with me if you see my name a lot with a lot of questions! (Some might be like, duh!)
This is our one and only shot at a DL trip, or so my DH says, since we are going with him on business.
I know Hydroguy says not to wait until the last night to see fireworks, Fantasmic, but the only night that they are scheduled is for a Friday, our last night. Is it possible to see both? How do you get from Fantsmic seating to a good spot for the fireworks? Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!!!:)

If you see the first Fantasmic!, the fireworks actually start bout the time that Fantasmic! ends, so you really can't get to Main Street to get a good view of the fireworks - you're better off staying put in Frontierland/New Orleans Square and watching from there. You can't see any of the projections on the castle or Matterhorn, but you still have a decent view of the fireworks, and you can hear the soundtrack as well.

My recommendation is to see the fireworks and then go to the 10:30 Fantasmic! - a lot of people go to the early show, so you have a better chance of getting a decent spot for the later show.

I agree with ScooterL.

The fireworks show is TOO GOOD TO MISS, and you'll really want to view it from a decent spot in it's full glory. I would pick a spot in the hub close to the Frontierland entrance. You should have a good view of the castle and the Matterhorn from there (if there isn't any trees in your way). Then after the fireworks show, make your way through Frontierland to the Rivers of America to view the second Fantasmic.

Thanks so much for the info....I'm glad I asked, since the fireworks sound so good...I think we want the total package of all the projections, etc.so we will make them the priority and see how it goes from there. We are from east coast time, so 10:30 would be pretty late for my kids. We've seen Fantasmic at WDW as well, so we won't be too sad if we end up missing it.
Thanks so much!!!:)

By then (the last night of your trip) you'll all be on west coast time, so it shouldn't affect you guys too much. You don't want to miss Fantasmic. It's a great show at DL! Besides, it's YOUR LAST NIGHT OF YOUR ONE AND ONLY TRIP TO DL! Live it up.....party hardy.....finish it up with a bang.....go out in style!!!:woohoo:

F! at DL is SO much different that WDW. You really do NOT want to miss it. It's a great show!

Also, remember you might have adjusted to CA time by this point in your vacation (you said it's your last day).
