we have an early reservation for BOG and will then will get in line for 7d (should be able to beat most the rope drop people to it. so my question is, what should we do next? I thought winnie the pooh but I heard that fills up relatively fast too since 7d people merge into it being so close

we will be staying in fantasy land for the morning and our fast pass schedule is as follows:
peter pan 10:15-11:15
7d again 11:30-12:30

any insight to knock out as much as possible before and after peter pan would be greatly appreciated.

it's a regular day. no extra morning or anything like that.

This is what I did between 8:00 and 12:00 yesterday :)

  • BOG at 8:05
  • 7DMT
  • Peter Pan
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Big Thunder
  • Splash
  • POC
  • Buzz (FP)
  • People Mover
  • Space Mtn (FP)
  • Laugh Factory (FP)
  • Mickeys Philharmagic

I would do Peter Pan next and change that fastpass to something else. If you use a FP for Peter Pan, you'll miss the interactive queue (which is better than the actual ride.)

I agree - we did the BOG prepark, 7dmt combo in April and then went to Peter Pan next without a FP. From there, we walked onto HM, did Splash, then BTMRR and POC all without FP. No waits longer than 15 minutes on anything.

Definitely go to PP first. We had an early BOG breakfast in November and then just this past week. In November we did 7DMT then went to Winnie the Pooh since it was closest. Immediately went to PP and the line was already backed up. Lesson learned. This time we went to PP right after a ride on 7DMT and pretty much walked right on. Pooh is pretty easy to get as a 4th FP.

have a plan B if 7D does not open on time. Happened to me last week. 7D didn't open until about 1030 on the day I had BOG PPO. They wouldn't say when it would open so we waited and by the time we bailed on the line most fantasyland waits were 20+ min. In hindsight, we should have bailed right away since we held a 7D fastpass. Since neither of us had ridden 7D before, we stayed to get the extra ride. More hindsight, we don't get the attraction for the ride so shouldn't have even done the BOG breakfast....

Wow! That's a lot done in 4 hours!

Our early am BOG we had 9:10 PP, 10.15 7dmt, 12:15 SM. Planned to dump 7dif we got on after breakfast. Ate breakfast 7d down; did carousel, PP, Ariel, tea cups, barnstormer down SM down 7d still down, Winnie the pooh, met Minnie, Daisy, IASW, 7d finally up missed fps but they changed to any time but fp line as bad as the standby. SM still down. Lunch at Skippers, split, but not before going to GS and getting anytime/7DMT for our next MK day.
Eta: tried to take train to Frontierland, train down. Never did SM

ok, so you all think I should change the fast pass now or just wait till day of. we wont be doing any of the major rides that day (like big thunder, space mountain, etc...) that day is all about my daughter's first time in the park. I' hesitant to just get rid of peter pan and then something happen and not be able to ride.

I was under the impression the peter pan line fills fast and is slow to load. was worried once 7d was done, it wouldn't be worth it to stand the PP line.

can you all give me suggestions what I should chance the fast pass to and if i should modify the time?

Thanks

We were just there and did BOG at 8:05, SDMT, Peter Pan, then we headed over to Merida and we were 2nd in line before she came out and then hopped in Alice's line before she came out. It was 9:40 at that point when we headed over to Tomorrowland.

You could wait until the same day and see if your daughter wants to ride PP twice that morning but if she doesn't and you wait to change it you'll be left with whatever options are available same day.

No! Do not change it until after the fact. We had ours as the 10:15 fp and planned to dump it if we got on right after our BOG breakfast, but it was broken down all morning. Had we dumped the fp, we probably wouldn't have ridden it. Also, we had a BBB appointment for my 2 DGDs early in the am, and had fast passes to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel after lunch. We finished at the boutique quicker than I thought, so we walked over to the Cinderella/Rapunzel meet and greet. The wait time said 25 minutes and I checked my Lines app and it said 18 minutes. So we hopped in line and I dropped the later Cinderella/Rapunzel fp for something else. The line did not move for 55 minutes, and we were well into 1 hr. 15 minutes wait time. I tried to get my fps back but they were gone, so we waited almost 75 minutes and darn near missed our lunch ADR. DO NOT drop the fp until you know it's a go.

not really the only thing that has a long line first thing is 7DMT and he did this first PP can also get up there too my guess was that at the time is was a 15 to 20 minute wait ( unless he did 7DMT before RD)

the other are walk on or 5 minute for the first hour at lest then he had some good FP and added 2 things that normally do not have a long wait.

and I do not think yesterday was the slowed day of the year. maybe some time in late January FEI think would be slower
