I have an old 4 day Park Hopper ticket - by old, I'm talking very old, 1993 is date on it I believe. Anyway it is the type of ticket which has days used punched with a hole punch, the date used is stamped on the card for each entry.

My problem - the ticket has 2 dates stamped, but 3 days are punched. Will guest services assume the date stamp is correct and credit me with 2 days left, or assume the punched holes is correct leaving only 1 day.

I realize none of you can probably give me a definite answer, it will be up to the person in guest services to decide when I try to trade the ticket in for a new meduim - but thought I'd throw the question out for you to offer your opinions.

hmmm interesting. I don't know what they will do.
I just used old tickets also. I had one from 1988!! I also had one from 1994.
Good luck . By the way do you know yourself if you had one or two days left?

No I don't know how many days it should be. The ticket has been sitting in a drawer for years, we just ran accross it. It doesn't really matter, I'll treat it as found money and just be greatfull for whatever I come away with.

I am guessting that the stamped dates take priority.

The ticket is stuck into a punching machine and is then manually stamped with the date, that is, using two maneuvers. The ticket may have been accidentally punched a second time during re-entry or hopping. When the turnstile CM observed that the last date already on it was the same as the current date, he of course did not restamp the date. So there are two unique dates stamped on the ticket and therefore only two days of the ticket are considered consumed. Just IMHO.

For a ticket that old, it should NOT be traded up to an MYW ticket with more days but instead exchanged at no cost. Furthermore it is not a good idea to use it during the same vacation that a new MYW pass of fewer than ten days is used.

When you decide to use it, ask for it back as a souvenir. They will stamp "Void" on it. The magnetic stripe ticket you get might be a 2 day hopping non-plus non-expiring MYW ticket, or it might be an old style hopper with two days.

Take your ticket to any guest relations and they will be able to determine if the stamp or the punch take precidence. Those tickets will not do much good as a trade in for a MYW. You will be better off using the last day, if indeed there is one left, as is, after having it turned into a ticket with the magnetic strip on the back, which may also be done at Guest Relations at any of the parks or Downtown Disney. Guest Services at the resorts cannot perform that function.
