Strange reality shows

You know what is really interesting is that THIS IS ALL THAT IS ON TV!!

How many TV shows are actually that? It's all about reality.

When I was a teen (cough cough) a few years ago...the only reality show I knew of was the Real World and even then my parents didn't want me to watch it.

MTV and VH1 that is all they have. There is no more Music Television, that is part of the problem with the 20 somethings of today and the teens as well.

They think its "real" tv and its not, its actually pretty sad.

I love American Pickers due to the Americana factor.
I watch Storage Wars and Antiques Roadshow because sometimes it's nice to see someone get lucky.
I HATE RHofNJ and JS because I am truly a JS girl (born, raised and have lived here my entire life) and they don't depict us truthfully at all.
I like Mystery Diagnosis and Dr G.
I also watch Top Chef and Chopped.
I also have discovered I watch wayy too much tv!
My dd17 loves BGC because she just loves that kind of drama.

The parking one can be hysterical at times.

Now--winning plastic surgery for your wedding....that is an odd premise for a show.


And for those keeping schedules, Worst Cook in America is on in January. WOOT! From craptastic to cuisine and all in between!

I think all of the reality shows are strange and the people on them are even stranger.

I think that some are very strange concepts. However, my new guilty pleasure is Married to Rock. Mainly b/c I love the bands the husbands are in, but also b/c Josie makes me laugh hysterically b/c she is bananas!

I don't watch a lot of reality shows because they have just gotten to be so crazy. They are just trying to make shows for everything now. People trying to find love, which they never do (Rock of Love, Bachelor/Bachelorette). People in every occupation known to man, which I don't really care about (Ice Road Truckers? really?) people with all kinds of drama (hoarders, intervention) people doing stupid things for money and celebrity has beens ice skating and dancing. And now it seems like all kinds of people are having their own reality shows. Sarah Palin? seriously? sigh. I'm glad that I have a small child to take care of so I don't have time to watch crappy tv
