Strange question

We leave on our trip in a week!!!

Anyway, the thread about where to buy Pepsi got me wondering about Pepsi products in the parks. I know they only sell Coke products, but can we have clearly labeled Pepsi and Pepsi products in the parks?

I know, it sounds strange. I worked in a hospital that had a contract with Coke. We couldn't have anything with a Pepsi label or that was made by Pepsi( Mtn Dew, Sierra Mist, etc). If we brought something in that was obviously made by the "competitor", we had to immediately get rid of it, otherwise it could be considered breach of contract.

Does anyone know?

The technical answer is that you're not supposed to bring in any outside food or beverage items according to the Disneyland FAQ (except for medical reasons or baby foods). In practice, I've seen plenty of folks bring in outside food and beverages. I've brought it Crystal Geyser and Aquifina bottled water, Gatorade, and other drinks in the past and none of the CMs confiscated those items. So, I think you'll be fine (as long as it's not in a glass bottle).

Either your hospital's lawyers were insane for making that contract, or no one ever showed it to them so they could laugh at the way it was being handled. That just makes no sense.

My ex was a district mgr for Coke before injury/retirement. The contract is for sale only, not what one brings in personally. The contract is for exclusive rights of sale between the two companies which would include any machines in employee lounges. However, employees would be free to bring in their own Pepsi for lunch and drink it but DL could not offer it to them or sell it to them.

Not being allowed to sell competitors' merchandise makes a lot more sense than just an outright ban on having them in your possession. The same would go for DLR. I think you'll be fine bringing in a Pepsi for your own consumption, but if you tried to sell it to another guest while in the parks, I expect that would cause trouble.
