Strange question about veils

Ok, I know this is a weird before I ask it!

It's really difficult to describe, but the 'gather' of my veil at the top is underneath the comb so when it is on my head the veil is quite puffy. It does mean that you can't see the gather in the veil but I'm not sure it that is right. ~The comb sits flat on my head with the gather on my head too.

I've seen some veils that have flowers where the veil joins the comb and thought it would look nice to do something on mine, but when I looked there is no way I could add them.

Did anyone else have a veil fixed like mine? Is that how most of them are?

I don't have any really good pictures of the back of my head yet- since my photographer isn't quite done editing my pictures. Here is one from the front- you can see how the veil is tucked underneath the up do with my tiara on top of the head.

Actually, it was yours that I saw with the flowers on! It is beautiful.

It looks lovely under your up do. My hair is going to be down as I never wear it up or away from my face or I think I would do the same. I've got a double-row headband that goes right the way across, like an alice band, so I think if I get the position of the veil right it will look like it is coming from underneath and be ok.

It's difficult to see how it will look as I am having hair extensions and loose curls, but I think the slightly puffy effect will work well. I'm going to ask them to do a similar style to the one that Lynn had but with it all down.

My veil sounds like a bit like yours this is how I wore it. I had it high, in front of my hair that was pinned up. I also had hair extensions put in with curls.

A silly question......are you putting the comb in right? No, seriously, so many women come in to my shop and put on veils and put them on wrong..... Make sure that you have the curve of the comb follow the curve of your head. It looks like your going to put it on backards.

Beep - I got both the veil and flowered comb at MICHEAL'S..sold separately, I just combined them on the one comb

No, not silly at all. It took me bl**dy ages to work it out. I couldn't understand why the comb was so uncomfortable and why the crystals had been stuck on the wrong way round... Honestly, I did
