Strange question about massages....

I'm sorry if I'm asking a weird question, but I was listening to the Mike Gallager show on talk radio tonight, and he was talking about his massage, and how this woman who gave it to him "groped" him. She actually grabbed him 'down there'. Has that, or anything close to it, happened to anyone who has gotten a massage on board???? It made me a little nervous. I've never had a massage before, and wanted to try one, but I'm not sure now. I think I've heard the ladies on the TV show "The View" discuss this very thing, about the women who get touched inappropriatly during massages. Anyone familiar with this topic in regards to DCL? Anyone ever been groped?

Being a person that has had many massages (my Mom was even a massage therapist at one time)... I've never ever had a negative or inappropriate experience during a massage.

And especially on DCL? I think Steiner (who runs the spa/salon) screen their staff carefully and are very professional.

I've never been on a DC (but hope to when DDs are a little older) but have had MANY massages in different cities, salons, resorts, etc. and have NEVER had any inappropriate touching experiences. In my experience, in any reputable spa (certainly including DCL), the massage therapists are strictly professional. I've also made my mom (almost 60) a HUGE believer! Now everytime we travel, the first thing she wants to do is spend an afternoon getting massages and facials. Go for it and enjoy it - I bet you will love it and will be a convert too!

My husband and I both do lots of massage on DCL, and the spa personnel are all professionals and never do anything inappropriate. And if you are new to the experience, they will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Even when you turn over, they hold the sheet to protect your modesty.
However, in California, I had a weird massage experience. I think that things are "free-er" out there. We went to a spa where you went in a hot tub before the massage. These were outdoor hot tubs, and they expected you to go in them buck naked!! You and your spouse had a tub to yourselves, but anyone could have come along. I felt really strange! At massage time, you donned a towel and trooped into the treatment room. I had a male therapist, and he massage everywhere, including my backside! He didn't touch it inappropriately, but that is the first time I've ever been massaged in that area. That was a really different experience!

I just asked my husband, whose only massage experience is on DCL, if he had ever been groped inappropriately. He just gave me a strange look and shook his head no. I sort of suspected that I knew the answer because I couldn't imagine him going back if he had. And the man is addicted to the spa! Can't get him to do a facial, but then for our wallet that is probably a good thing!
