Thought of another one this morning. My sister knew a family named Shue. The dad's name was Jim.

Recently a friend who works at an urgent care said that there were twins who came in. One was named Orangejello (pronouned O'ronjello) and one was Lemonjello (pronounced Le'monjello). I had heard about them years before but I thought it was a joke. And she also had a lady in there whose name was spelled like a**hole but pronounced Ashole. Who knows what goes through some peoples minds when they are picking out names! My last name is often pronounced 'road' but the spelling is not even close to that or even pronounced that way. The big joke when I was pregnant with my son was that we should name him Dusty, Bumpy, Dirt, etc.

Orangejello and Lemonjello are mentioned in the book, Freakonmics, along with the parents who named their daughter, s***head, (pronounced Shateed). What are these parents thinking?????

Well, my Dad's name is Irp and my Grandpa's name was Irp. And my brother's middle name is Irp....
Guess that's pretty unusual. My dad said it was hell growing up with that name!

I also worked with a lady that swore this was true. She took an insurance card for a kid and the kids name was...wait for it.......

Shi*head.

Yes spelled like that. She said she asked the parent why they named their kid Shi*head and the got all mad at her. THe kids name was pronounced as Shy-Theed.
Sounded like a made up story but she swore to it.

Oh my gosh. I just read through some of the names there. They have a Dianarea and Pork Chop listed. No name should start with Di and end with rea! And I hope Pork Chop is a boy...maybe he could go by Chop?

Mancow attends my church and has a show on the fox news channel now. (Saturday nights). He was fired from his radio job when he refused to speak negative on his show. He wanted to change the format but the company said no. They wanted the gross and negative programing that was hurting people.

I had a doctor named Dr Rib and another one -Dr Looney! I always thought he should have been a psychologist. He was an allergist.

I also went to school with someone named Penny Shilling.

I used to work in a baby store and I wish I could remember some of the names we heard. I remember one lady -Mrs Lip****z -I can't remember her first name but I remember only some of us were able to call her without laughing hysterically I remember having to take a deep breath and try not to think about it! I will see if any of my co-workers can remember the name.
