Strange Letter From DVC

Recieved an Exchange Confirmation from DVC for a Hotel in Egypt. We never requested the reservation. We have never even inquired about Egypt. Reservation is for 2012. Reservation does not have a confirmation #. I checked my DVC account and there is no reservation. DVC phone is listed on the reservation. Underneath that it is 2 after hours phone#'s. It is addressed to both me and my wife usually DVC is just made out to who ever made the reservation. I will call DVC in the morning to follow up. Was wondering if anyone else has ever received anything like this. It seems like a phishing letter.

I agree it sounds like phishing. Was it an actual snail mail letter, or an email?

Wow, and some people were complaining they had to take an elevator from 5th floor of AKV to the 6th floor concierge lounge

I just got a email from Disney, not DVC inviting Caroline to book a resort stay at Aulani with a special offer.

Problem is, I don't know any Caroline's.

I just got a email from Disney, not DVC inviting Caroline to book a resort stay at Aulani with a special offer.

Problem is, I don't know any Caroline's.

Excellent news on both counts! Sounds like DVC is getting closer to rolling out the promised Online Reservation System!

Spoke to Member Services & they blamed it on a system glitch. They said they were up-grading the system

I got the same one addressed to 'Phyllis'. I actually do know a Phyllis (my sister), who has been a guest quite a few times. I wonder if that is total coincidence, or if past guest names were used.

I can top that..........Got an email from Disney Cruise Line with a special offer with MY CASTAWAY club # on it...with Dear ....(My Tenants name) who has NEVER been on a Disney Cruise
