any place in wdw serve any thing strange aka alligator, frogs legs ,ostrige im always willing to try any thing. just sick of chicken steak and chocolate cake!

Artiste Pointe at WL has bison steak. I am not sure if this is "gamey" enough compared to alligator or ostridge. :confused3 But it all tastes like chicken, right?? :rotfl2:

Maybe allears (link above) can help. Good luck.

Edit to add: I just checked a few things and found an escargot and frog leg appetizer at Bistro de Paris in France (WS Epcot). Also, several restaurants have duck entrees. It does not show on the menu but I swore I saw on the boards that Narcoosees at GF had some unusual things such as an alligator spread. Maybe I was dreaming this??? You may want to look into it though. The menues on allears are pretty up to date but they do change. Have fun.

I haven't seen anything like you mentioned, however I think Epcot has the most varied menus. Lamb in Morocco, Bratwurst in Germany, etc. Oh and Bomas and Jiko at AKL. Hollywood Brown Derby and California Grill have some excellent choices. Is that enough? Don't forget the turkey legs. :rotfl2:

I agree with OP, check out allears.net

We got pretty freaked out by the food at Akershus, so you might wanna give it a try... :rotfl:

I know way back when, about 12-15 years ago my DH got alligator steak at Narcoosees, not sure they still have it. You would have to check the menu.

tryed akersus it was pretty good .i thought i saw alligator sausage on the menu somewere but cant find it now

Ostriche (or however you write that animal's name) doesn't taste like chicken at all. It is red meat, and tastes more like beef, if you have to compare it to something.

ooo, gator. Haven't had that in a couple of years. Maybe I'll have to look into that too.

Disney food is pretty bland. Even the Epcot WS restaurants don't tend to stray too far from "a chicken dish, a beef dish, a pork dish, a fish dish and something for vegetarians."

There are a few places you can get sushi.
