after all the great advice to get ST for my iphone . Now i've been in so many stores and I don't see the ST phones for sale.

Where are you buying first time? thanks

Right, or you can order a phone directly from the StraightTalk site (lots of them are free). That's what my parents did. I ordered my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim from the Walmart site.

Howardforums has a lot of good info for this.

You can buy the cards at walmart or online from straighttalk.

Is your iphone att or unlocked? I believe you can only use an att or an unlocked iphone to do this.

Straight Talk doesn't sell iPhones. You can use an unlocked iPhone or one that uses a SIM and swap out the SIM card with a Straight Talk one.

This is your first post and it indicated you were looking for a phone but wanted to use an iphone. I wasn't sure exactly what you were looking for.

We use ST for our Iphones. I bought 1 off CL for $300, It was an ATT contract phone. Bought the mini SIM from ST $15. Got the card in the mail and got the Iphone Activated. Phone worked, no Safari, etc. etc. Found out that the Network Settings that need to have information input are "hidden". Long story, but theres alot of information about "jailbreaking" etc. Anyway, there's a site, unlock it dot com or something similar that already has the information and it was an easy download. So Safari worked, but MMS (picture text) didn't work.
I was trying It out before I put my wife on ST/iphone.
So this is when I went to Apple and bought an Unlocked phone for like $700 (iphone 4s) come to find out, the Network tab was still hidden. Could have saved myself $400 and bought used, but her's was a 4s, so the "sim card" trick works. There's video's of how to insert a T mobile card and you can get the network tab to show.
So, just to reply to your post, the iphone does work, sometimes you get what you pay for, we are on the ATT network, she's 4G when available, I'm only 3g, because I have the iphone 4. I don't think you can use the 5 yet? It does save alot of money because it's unlimited for $45.
There are some ST phones that are on Verizon Network. Which to me Is the better network, but the iPhone isn't supported.
Just giving you a heads up that you will have to go to unlock it dot com or jailbreak. Infact on the ST website, I think I've read were it says the iphone will have to be "jail broke". Which I did, but then you can't do updates, so I put it back to it's original state.

Yes, sorry. Have an IPHONE. now i'm buying the sim card for straight talk. i hope. really want to spend no more than 35$ a month though.
