Storytime with Belle is going away...

It looks like WDW is replacing it with a Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder show.

It's not going to be a show. It's the new styled meet and greet that was talked about for the Fantasyland Expansion. Disney is testing it with Rapunzel to see how to tweak it.

Yea, that is a shame. I prefer shows to a meet and great. Although those meet and greats like Tink are pretty good.

I guess Rapunzel for the upcoming movie..We saw the preview during the Sorcerers Apprentice...Looked kinda comedy style...

Oh and I just watched UP last night and really enjoyed it...the first few minutes I was thinking this is a bit much for kids but it turned out great

We saw the previews for this movie--can not believe they will get rid of the storytime with Belle with Repunzel. (i can see this going the same way as enchanted)

Don't worry a new and improved version of Storytime with Belle will take place at the Beauty and the Beast section of the Fantasyland Expansion.

As for Rapunzle and Flyn, I hope this show will be around longer than the Tiana showboat show, I really want to see how they do her long, long, long hair.

While I am happy there will be a chance to meet Rapunzel while we are there, I will miss the Storytime with Belle - i always thought of that show as one of MK's little gems.

I am going to miss "story time with Belle".

We have only seen it once but we had a wonderful time. My really shy DD had a great time getting up on the stage.
And somehow being in that little garden area seemed relaxing.

It's being created for the long run. Think of Pixie Hollow - lots of details and work are going into this location unlike most Meet and Greet areas.

Me too! But if they make the area over for the new Rapunzel interactive meet & Greet, maybe Belle can't do storytime there....... After losing the Twas the Night show, I'd hate to see them lose something else so traditional and charming.

I'm also still wondering about the Stepsister dance party.

It's a shame they're replacing a popular show with a popular character for something designed to promote a new movie. I'm not against Disney using the parks for this purpose -- it's their company -- but not at the expense of attractions kids love.
