Can someone who's been to Storyteller's for breakfast answer this for me...

I see that there is a breakfast buffet, but you can also get individual dishes. Is there seperate seating for the two types of meals or do you get character interacation no matter what?

Also, does anyone know the child's buffet price and if there is a child's menu for breakfast (not buffet)? Thanks.

You get character interaction whether you order off the menu or do the buffet. I can't remember the child's buffet price, but there is also a child's menu to order from.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. If anyone has price info, please pass it on.

When we were there at 11am on Tuesday the 6th of September, we were told that they were only serving the buffet. I had gone thinking I could order something off the menu and was disappointed about that. Not sure if it was because we were there so late in the meal period or if its a change. I will say that there was almost no one else there and we got the characters almost to ourselves most of our meal.

That would be a shame if they discontinued menu service - they do a great Denver omelet.

Can anyone else confirm this? I don't want to go if it is just the buffet because I won't eat that much and don't want to pay for it.

I just talked to Rob (a really nice CM) at Vacation Planning and he confirmed that you can order off the menu at the Storyteller's breakfast.

Thanks so much for confirming that you can order off the menu. I can't wait to try it out!!!

I had occasion to have breakfast at Storyteller this morning, and can confirm they still have menu service, but the prices have gone up. I had my usual Denver omelet at $14. Most other items were also around $14. This does include choice of juice, and my companions who had the Mickey waffles said that previously the waffle didn't include bacon (or presumably sausage) but now it does. The buffet is still $22. It seems that oatmeal is no longer on the menu, although it's available at the buffet, so maybe if one insists you could get that at a lower price.

We were there on the 11th and we could have ordered off the menu if we wanted for either us or our son. The child's buffet price was 11.99. The characters came to everyones table no matter what was ordered. If you got the buffet though, you could stretch your meal out easier than if you just ordered off the menu.

Yousa! $14 for an omelet!

In all defense, my omelet when we went was pretty big. I prefer the American breakfast (??) which has eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast and it was about $9.59. You can't really even get much at a fast food place for that and it's a yummy meal! Me and my two DD's split it, that's how much food it was.

And really even an omelet for 14.99 is much better than $22 for the buffet, and you can't get a character meal hardly anywhere for $14.99!
