Hi Linda! Yes we went and the kids LOVED it!! I brought my niece also(she is almost 8) and although she and A.J.(5) chickened out of the coaster and log ride and really enjoyed everything else. Mattie(8 months) even went on a few rides!!! We stayed at the North Conway Grand Hotel and it was great. At check in I asked if they had any family suites still available to upgrade to at an additional cost(they had quoted me on the phone 229.00 plus tax the 1st night and 289.00 plus tax the 2nd night!!!-which is why I stayed with a regular room!!)-well they had 1 family room still available and she discounted it to 161.00 plus tax for both nights!!! It worked out great because there was a bedroom with 1 king bed plus a pull out sofa and tv plus the living room area had a tv(with dvd player and game boy) a big fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. The bathroom was average also had a hair dryer plus there was a rather large foyer area and that had a closet with iron/board!! There was a nice indoor pool/hot tub(lots of chlorine!!!), exercise room etc. At night, although we didn't have an opportunity to join in, there were kids activities(movies, games, crafts etc) and from 8-9 there was an ice cream social! The restaurant, although a bit over priced, had excellent food(ate there both nights and both breakfasts!). The kids were free for breakfast both mornings. There is an outdoor pool also but it was not open yet. Outlet stores right next door!
If you go to storyland after 3:00 pm the 1st day they give you passes for another full day to use during the season-we went the next day of course. Hours were 9-6 daily.
Let me know if I can answer any more questions!!!
