Looking for some opinions about the dinner in Norway. How is the food and do they have kid friendly meals. I looked at the menu but did not see anything about a kid's meal. Yesterday I changed from breakfast to dinner because I wanted to do the boutique experience for my dd and have her dressed like a princess for this meal. There was no way to do this before our breakfast, so I changed to dinner and now I am worried I made the wrong choice. Also, what princesses have been at the dinner. Thanks.

Here is my review from our past trip. This dinner was a surprise to my DD5. I was pleasantly surprised that the building looks just like a castle (perfect setting)

We were seated in less than 2 mins. We walk in and she gets her picture taken with Ariel (in her ballgown)- she is so excited that she saw Ariel and thought that was her surprise (little did she know what she was in for :) .. We get seated right next to the door where the princesses come out of so when Sleeping Beauty came out I thought my DD5 was going to fall out of her chair. Then came Belle, Jasmine and finally Mulan. I have never seen her eyes light up the way they did that night. The fireworks after dinner (dinner was at 7:50pm) were magical. We were able to walk right out of the restuarant and the view was perfect! That was the most magical night of our trip. As we were leaving Epcot my DD5 grabbed my hand and brought me down to her, gave me a hug and said "you did good mom" that was such a special moment.

Okay on to the food because I did not know what to expect.. Our waitress was wonderful. We told her we had no idea what to order and she explained everything to us and also told us we could substitue.. so I ordered the poached cod with cheddar mashed potatoes instead of horseradish potatoes. My DH ordered the Pasta with marina sauce instead of the Pesto sauce (very picky eater) and DD5 ordered Pizza which she barly touched because she was just so excited. We started out with the appitizer buffet which was ok. My dd5 loved it because of all the cheese. It did have salad, cheeses, lunch meat, cold fish, and bread. The food was better than expected.

Service gets an A
