Storybook Dining Question

Hi All, So we have a reservation coming up for a party of 9 at Storybook Dining. I have two questions that I'm hoping you could help me with. Our reservation is right before the lift the character greeting restrictions, so is it worth it is my first question. With the social distancing characters can you still have a good experience for the money or should we cancel and try again next year? Secondly, we have a few very picky eaters in our party and the menu doesn't offer anything they will eat, so what are the chances they would do breaded chicken nuggets and fries? Would they offer this if we asked? If not, would they let us bring up chicken nuggets from Roaring Forks so some of the kids could enjoy it? Thanks so much for your help in advance!!

We did all the character dining last week with a party of nine. A miracle, i know!

Story Book was tied with Tusker House for best food. We really enjoyed it and would do it again. Table placement plays into the experience at Story Book.

if you aren’t going for the food in addition to entertainment, you are likely to be disappointed.

I've read in another trip report recently that they will bring in nuggets and fries upon request. They grab them from Whispering Canyon.

The "Is it worth it?" is a very personal question. I would not be paying for my family of 5 to just interact from a distance. I've heard that the characters are really excellent at engaging you despite the distance, but I still think it's too big of a bill for a less-than experience. Especially if you expect to be able to return next year for the real deal. That being said, I'm very price sensitive when it comes to Disney meals because they are all just *so darn expensive*. I'm not paying those kind of prices without having a top quality entertainment experience.

I had a great experience here. My baby played peekaboo with Snow White it was adorable and although was from a distance it didn’t detract from the interaction. If you don’t like the food though I don’t know if this is the right option. It’s super expensive to want chicken nuggets. I’ve heard of restaurants being able to provide that, not for this particular restaurant but since there are a few other restaurants around them they probably can
