that little storybook circus train is my favorite ride in disneyland....i know that sounds stupid, but i thought it was so cute....we rode it over and over!!

Casey Jr in Disneyland Paris along with Storybook boats are a family favourite

I've not been since 2009 but this just looks like they've changed the theme of some rides? Dumbo, goofy's etc Have they just added a circus theme to existing rides or have they added any new rides?

Storybook Circus is part of a huge expansion of Fantasyland, this part includes a new home for Dumbo, with two side by side dumbo attractions and a retheme of the Barnstormer from Toon Town to a circus theme (and a gorgeous new Fantasyland train station). There's nothing really "new" open now but it's the first step towards the whole new Fantasyland which will be opening in phases over the next few years which I'm so excited for.

The new Fantasyland

Announced at D23 Expo on 12 September 2009 (and revised on January 18 2011), Jay Rasulo outlined plans for the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom, vastly increasing the size of Fantasyland by 2013. Additions will include:
-- The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will take guests on a rollicking, musical ride into the mine “where a million diamonds shine.”
-- Join Belle in an enchanting story performance in the Beast's castle library.
-- Be Our Guest and dine in one of three enchanted rooms inside the Beast's castle.
-- Fly with Dumbo high above brand new circus grounds, twice the size of the existing attraction with a new interactive, three-ring circus tent.
-- Journey under the sea with Ariel, The Little Mermaid, in her very own attraction.
The new Fantasyland will be opened in phases, with the first opening in 2012, and the remainder opening in 2013.

I believe they're aiming to be finished in 2013.

I'm not sure if anyone else listens to Lou Mongello's podcasts or watches his live news casts, but he was in MK on Wednesday streaming live from Storybook Circus. It looks gorgeous, lovely theming and the area music is great. Dumbo looks amazing!! He posted the video on his website if anyone is interested

Looking forward to our trip in Oct/Nov and seeing how much more has been completed, our kids are at a great age to enjoy this new part of the park. Love the peanuts in the walkways!
