Hi. To all the Storybook users. On pg 54 the design in Tall/Border square-how do you get that design? I tried and got the number 1. DD's boyfriend wants to use some of the cricut designs for his air brushing and this would be a BIG help.
By the looks of it, I better sit down and start reading ALL the instructions from the very beginning.

After loading you paper, select size, speed & pressure- make sure that the Tall/Border feature button is lit up. Then press SHIFT and then press 1.

It is the pressing of the SHIFT key that I think you are missing.

Hi again. Now this time it cut out the design in the first little box. We need the design in the first bigger box, the long design.???

If the design is in the image that is all the way to the left, that fills up the whole page. That is the image that will cut if no special features are selected. If it is in the lower left, then the shift is off, if it is in the upper right, then you need to select the shift.

Unfortunately, Cricut.com removed all the manuals, and I don't own this cart, so I can't look at the manual to see exactly what the image is.

But with all the other cartridges, the biggest picture is what cuts with no special feature buttons selected. The 6 smaller pictures are the cuts you get if you pick one of the 6 special feature buttons. If the image is in the lower left, that is what will cut without selecting Shift, if the image is in the upper right you need to hit the shift key before selecting the cut.

So before you cut, you need to ask yourself

1. Do I need to push a special feature button?
2. Do I need to use the Shift?

Each page is set up the same.
The first picture is the largest. The larger of that cuts as is if you press it before cut. The smaller one in that corner is what will print if you press shift than that key.
Each smaller square tells you what feature you need to press first. Then the larger in the left corner just press to cut. The smaller one in right corner you must press shift first then the key - while the feature is highlighted.

Does that help any?
