I read something about this, but don't have a lot of details.
My DD loves Belle, but doesn't like the Beast.

Thanks
Amare

This is a very cute audience participation story telling. Belle comes out to tell her story...she then picks about 7 kids from the audience to play the parts of Luminere, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Gaston, her Father, Cogsworth...then they pick a dad from the audience to play the Beast. Everyone is given very cute sandwich board type costumes....except the beast...his is furry hands and when he turns into the prince he gets a cape.

It is all very low key and should really be considered scarey at all...my kids love this show..

HI Zurgswife,

Do you remember the times and how many times per day she does the cute outdoors play?

I want to mark it on my itinerary!

Thanks!

Hi there, we saw this show also, and it is very nice, but if you want to do this show, pick a time and get there early, we arrived about an hour before show time and had to sit along the back wall, many people didn't even know what the stage was for, it was just a small place out of the hustle and well shaded, but once they found out what it was, they stuck around for the show. As far as times go, I think they vary, we just came back and it was packed, and I think there more show times added. If you can find a show times schedule, it should be on there. Hope this helps

I was actually picked to be the Beast(furry hands and all)
dd5 was NOT happy(my daddy is not a beast):)
the storytelling was really alot of fun
but I think the most fun was being pointed out as the beast
2 or 3 times during the day in the park and hotel;)
another case of the disney magic for the kid in all of us::MickeyMo

This is a really cute show. Both my dds (3 and 4 at the time) were picked to be in the show, but only my 3 year old would go up! She was Cogsworth! She was excellent, by the way, and was nominated in this year's Disney's Young Oscars competition! :Pinkbounc

Seriously, though, it is low key and funny. Belle comes out afterwards for autographs.

Good Luck!
