can someone tell me more about these. Are they out at certain times? How long does it take it at each one? Also are there other holiday decorations? Thanks

This should help in terms of descriptions and timing of shows. It's from 2016 and times and performers may change this year, but it gives you a sense of how the storytellers are scheduled. Their "shows" are about 10 - 15 minutes long: http://allears.net/tp/h_epcotstorytellers.htm

As you get closer to your trip, this site typically lists the storyteller showtimes so you can plan your days a little better before you get there. There will also be showtimes listed in the times guide at the park: http://wdwent.com/

Yes, the entirety of WDW is decorated - resorts, parks and DS. My favorite resorts at Christmas are WL and GF. The chocolate carousel at BC is also amazing. They did new decorations at DHS this year and they were fantastic!

All the stories relate to the different custom from each of the countries. They are all quite different. I don't think it is possible to see them all in one day so I would take a few minutes to prioritize the ones you think you would enjoy the most. We enjoyed Father Christmas in the UK, Helga the storyteller in Germany, and Pere Noel in Canada. Pere Noel and Father Christmas are the closest to the American Santa Claus. Helga is interesting because many of our Christmas traditions originated in Germany, went through Victorian England thanks to Prince Albert and then onto America.

They have times throughout the day, and I think each one lasts maybe 10-15 minutes? We were there this past December, and managed to only catch part of Father Christmas in the UK. I was kind of bummed, because I had hoped to see most of them, but it just didn't work out.

Make a point to stop in at the American Adventure and go inside to see Voices of Liberty perform in the rotunda. They're all decked out in Dickensian costumes and they sing Christmas and Hanukkah songs. Absolutely beautiful!

Oh, and if you can catch "Joyful" on stage over on the Future World side, they're a great gospel group with a ton of energy! My 73-year old dad loved them!

Decorations abound. It's truly magical.

Is it true that the Storytellers typically don't appear until after Thanksgiving? Do I have that right?

Love the story tellers! Love the holiday food booths! Love Epcot during the holidays! But yes, it all starts the day after TG I believe.
