Story Magic at Epcot?

I just booked the new winter package and see that this is an option. I thought I knew pretty much everything, but had never heard of this before. Anyone know what this is.

It is held at Epcot in the Innovations building. It is a room with a man telling a Disney story with a HUGE book in the room. When the story is over, a character from the story he read jumps out of the book and has a meet and greet session. The story is always changing, so I can't tell you what story it will be. I know Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty has been read. You can call up to 45 days to make your reservation for it. It is not a walk-in. I hope this helps. We are going to do it for the first time this September and can't wait.

I'm also curious to find out more about the Story Magic at Epcot. How does one go about making a reservation for this event? How long is the story reading? How often do they do this? Would it be appropriate for a 4 year old, or is it geared more towards older children?

Any other information anyone can provide would be most appreciated.

From what the lady told me, it's about an hour-give or take. You call Disney Dining at 407-939-3463. When I called for the end of September, the only time they said they do it is 4:15. At this website, it shows more than one time. Maybe Disney changed the times for September. http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm
This is a great website for all the entertainment info on all the parks. Also, they only do the Story Magic on certain days. I can't remember what days, but it's worth a call to find out. I'llpost anymore info as I come across it.

I just looked at the website and he's taken it off, but the best advice I can give you is to call Disney. They will give you all the info you need.
