So, I'm wondering about the food at SBD. The food options are not really my kind of food but I want a picture with the evil queen. My adult kids want the character experience for their son. So, I am wondering if the food is actually worth the price tag?

I liked the food, but it definitely wasn't my husband's favorite place. He ended up getting something at roaring forks almost immediately after we left.

Sounds like what I will be doing. I looked at the menu and most of the offerings are just not for me but I am hoping that maybe the chicken will be tasty

The menu isn't for our family either which is a shame because it's such a unique experience. The price tag is to high for us just to enjoy the characters and not the food.

I feel the same way, but DIL really wants the experience. I'm only after a photo with the evil queen. My grandson will love dopey

Really the only reason I had it booked was we were staying at WL for one night and when I discount dropped, I had nearly a 300 dollar room credit on my account. So we used it for that.

I've done this twice. Honestly, I don't love the entrees. Had prime rib the first time, and it was crazy salty...and I'm someone who uses salt. I actually don't remember what I had on the second visit. The character experience is really good though.

The food isn’t great and we found the restaurant to be loud and chaotic, but if your goal is to meet Dopey and the Evil Queen, it fits the bill. It was one and done for us. Really miss the old Artist Point.

We really enjoyed the food...my 10 year old(at the time) was considered an "adult" and wasn't pumped about the main entrée choices so they brought him a HUGE plate of mac n cheese and chicken tenders...after he saw mine and my husband's prime rib, he got more excited to try that. They also gave my husband plain potatoes instead of the horseradish ones. Also, the atmosphere was amazing and the character interaction was awesome. The staff was super nice as well.

We went in February and I thought the food was really good. Especially the entrees. The CM's were great and would bring us anything we asked for! The restaurant was noisy and chaotic, but the characters were good.

The food was okay, but NOT worth the price. I like face characters and that is why we booked it.

We went once a few years back. I felt like all of the food and drinks looked cool and great for pictures but didn't taste all that good. It was nice for the character experience, but I wouldn't spend the money on it again.

Anyone with allergies who’s eaten here? I have a shellfish and mushroom allergy. As a vegetarian, not sure what I could have appetizer-wise. Unfortunate because I’d love the experience.

This was my favorite meal of my April trip! My friends had the prime rib and I had the chicken. The meatball appetizer was so good and the desserts were great!! Only dish I skipped was the mushroom soup - not a mushroom fan. It was a ton of food and for a character meal, was priced fairly.

Dopey and Grumpy both came by our table multiple times - we had a blast interacting with them.

I look forward to going back!

We were 4 adults, we asked and got extra shrimp appetizers, three of us really enjoy the mushroom soup, and DH asked for and got an end cut prime rib, one adult went with well done and two medium rare and we all, thoroughly enjoyed the meal and ambiance!!

Some of our best pictures and memories of that trip are from that meal!

The chef came out to the table for my mom to discuss her meal. She can’t eat dark greens, so they brought her the shrimp plain. I don’t remember what changes they did for the main. But I’m sure they will come up with something for you! It doesn’t hurt to have something in mind that could be an acceptable substitution. For example if there are tomatos on the menu, my mom will sometimes ask for a tomato salad if she couldn’t find an acceptable appetizer ( when we were on the deluxe dining and the appetizer was included)

Mt daughter and I dined there last Dec. I was thrilled to score a last minute reservation and we were one of the latest seatings. Despite, we found everything from appetizers, prime rib, and desserts to be delicious. We were not that enthusiastic about the character aspect, but Snow White and the dwarves were utterly charming. The Evil Queen was in perfect character. So yes, we loved it from start to finish.
