We are expecting 4" of rain in parts of SE MN tonight on top of already saturated ground. Last month we had a rainfall deficit, go figure.

NE Iowa had some tornadic weather and heavy rainful which is headed northeast.

All you Disers in Austin, Winona, Owatonna, Rochester areas and parts of western WI take care.

Wow, I didn't watch the news earlier. We had some rain today, good for the grass, but we have been dry for hours. I didn't realize the rain was still in the state. Good luck to you tonight!
Typical MN, drought one month, floods the next.

Hi ERika,

Yes, farmers were happy with last week's rainfall for the crops.

Unfortunately, we are in a rainy pattern right now, and farmers will probably see flooded fields in low lying areas.

That must be part of the huge long line of thunderstorms that is heading right for us! It'll be a few hours before it gets here, but man, that thing looks nasty! They've just issued a tornado warning for around Martinsburg, WV!

For those in this storm's path, stay safe!

I'm so jealous! I'm down here in HOT and DRY Georgia with no rain in sight! I'm about ready to do a rain dance naked! :p Seriously, my water bill is through the roof keeping my yarden alive!:earseek:

There are tornado warnings out in West Virginia and Virginia... hoping they don't head this way!

We had storms last night again too! We have a protected wetland across from our house and it's literally flooding. And we're supposed to have rain all weekend too.

Just caught a blurb on the news, sounds like MN is in for more rain tonight! My grass is gonna look like a pasture before it's dry enough to cut it.

Everyone be careful out there. We're supposed to get nailed with storms here too. The thunder has started already.
