Stormalong Bay Refurb?

Just asked the front desk 2 days ago when I saw it torn apart. They are working on the pool and have broken the job into 3 parts. (part 1=side closest to Epcot)
1&2 parts are closed now, part 3 is open. Part 1 will re-open, part 3 will close. Part 2 will reopen followed by part 3. Completion is scheduled mid March. The DVC pool is open.

I haven't heard anything lately, but the slide area should definitely be open. That's the first section they were working on. It was closed when we were there in January and was supposed to reopen in mid-February when they moved on to the next section.

The slide was open last week when we were there.

The section closest to yacht club was the part under construction I believe.

There's a great thread about this over on the resorts board. Slide & main pool are complete and reopened. Lazy river section is supposed to reopen today, with the sand bottom shallow pool closed last.

Just left Beach Club Villas today to go to Saratoga Springs......
They had the slide and center section open; the part closest to the Yaht Club was closed for refirbishment.

My mom is currently there, she said most of the pool is open, just a section is closed off currently. She said she has still enjoyed it.

We are going to be there 3/22 I hope the sand zero depth area is open as we have young kids and they would love it! I have a feeling it will be closed

We just got back this past Sunday, the only part closed was the beach area. All other areas were open (main pool, slide, lazy river, hot tubs).

We are all in mourning we miss BCV so much It gets harder and harder each time to leave. It was so bad this time we put in to add on another 50 points there. Too much of this sadness and I'll be happy but in the poor house
