Stormalong Bay Question.

We are hoping to stay at BCV next August and I know DD is going to love the slide. I know it's across the walkway, but can you see the enterance to the slide from the pool area?

No - you cannot see the entrance to the slide from the pool. At our prior stays at the Yacht Club, I had to stay out of the pool to follow my daughter back and forth since it's pretty far and somewhat hidden. Believe it takes a while to get to the bottom if there is a line at the slide. They do have lifeguards at the pool area for the stairs up to the slide but there are tons of people in the area. Have fun! SAB really is super fun!

We just stayed for 9 days at BCV in early April. SAB is an incredible pool, and my kids LOVED it. There are lifeguards everywhere, so I felt pretty comfortable letting them run around.

The things that make the pool great are also the things that would drive me nuts if my kids were younger. The pool is like a lazy river, and the slide is across the walkway. The pool itself has several coves for kids to play in, which makes it difficult to see them at times. Don't get me wrong, there are ways to keep your kids contained, but it's just more difficult that at some of the other resorts. I have to admit, though, I enjoyed the pool even as an adult!

Thanks. We have stayed there once before when DD was very young and she loved sitting in the sand playing. Now that she is older and a bit of a dare devil I am sure she will have a blast.
